**Responsibilities**

We have an excellent opportunity for a Development Director, Heart Ball. The selected candidate will manage the Heart of Oklahoma City campaign, including our signature Heart Ball and a teen engagement program, with direct accountability for campaign and division revenue goals. This is an ideal opportunity to apply strengths in relationship building to accomplish bold goals through outstanding volunteer leadership engagement and corporate and individual giving.

If you have a strong fundraising or sales background where you traveled in an assigned territory OR if you have an event coordination background coupled with sales or fundraising, we want to hear from you!

**Responsibilities:**

+ Revenue generation and volunteer management for the Heart of Oklahoma City campaign.

+ Build and execute strategies for individual and corporate donors and prospects in portfolio to ensure growth of donor relationships. Work cross-functionally to secure appropriate information to create proposals and asks to secure gifts.

+ Conducting sales calls to generate new business and manage existing companies ensuring one of a kind customer relationships.

+ Provide staff support in planning, implementing and evaluating assigned fundraising events, leveraging event standards and keeping within event timelines and budgets.

+ Recruit for and manage an engagement and fundraising program designed for high school aged students.

+ Collaborate and communicate as a member of an interdependent team to ensure achievement of shared goals in volunteer leadership, health impact and fundraising.

+ Identify, recruit and activate executive volunteer leadership including implementing a year-round cultivation plan.

+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred. College coursework combined with related experience may be substituted for a degree.

+ Must have at least 3+ years of experience in fundraising, outside sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity. This experience may also count towards satisfying this position' s educational

+ Ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment and management, proven track record in meeting sales/fundraising goals.

+ Organization, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are a must.

+ Candidates must be results driven with the ability to multitask.

+ Must have the ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation.

+ Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets.

+ Must be at least 18 years old.
