LEASING MANAGER SALARY; Base Salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 plus leasing bonuses of up to $17,500/year for hitting leasing benchmarks.

THE COMPANY: Real Equity Management is a property management firm, with a portfolio of assets centered around both commercial and residential real estate. Their primary focus, however, is in market-rate and student, multi-family communities. To date, they oversee leasing efforts for over 3,500 beds in Missouri alone, in addition to a large complex in Kentucky and Stillwater.

THE LEASING MANAGER POSITION: Our Leasing Manager will be responsible for signing leases and generating interest and traffic from prospective residents at OSU's campus. You will help create and execute a plan for on campus marketing efforts, and oversee the leasing process from start to finish.

LEASING MANAGER JOB DUTIES:

* Works directly with Community Manager to generate traffic of prospective residents by assisting with development and carrying out action on marketing campaigns.
* Acts as Brand Ambassador, projecting a favorable image within the community by attending campus events and City functions in order to achieve property objectives by increasing property interest.
* Conducts all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining showrooms, and any follow-up necessary.
* Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective in obtaining closure and facilitates coaching on areas needing improvement.
* Secures new resident signatures on appropriate paperwork prior to move in
* Assists with new resident orientation to property (i.e. turn over keys, reviews property rules, regulations and procedures, point out mailboxes, and review amenities, etc.
* Adheres to standards and complies with: corporate procedures, government laws on Fair Housing, and all inspections of the facility
* Assists the Community Manager with the supervision of the leasing staff, including training, development, evaluation, and rewards

LEASING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

* 1 to 3 years' experience in apartment leasing
* Experience in leasing for start-up complex preferred
* Experience working in the Stillwater, Oklahoma apartment industry preferred
* Ability to motivate a team and influence decisions of others
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
* Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
* Personable, high energy leader
* Strong attention to detail and sales ability is a must
