Position Description

The Marketing Director is responsible for executing the overall marketing and communications strategy to support defined corporate initiatives. Additionally, this position is responsible for identifying and targeting relevant community events, coordinating team participation, and messaging to generate leads supporting business growth. The Marketing Director will work closely with the Leadership Team to ensure marketing communications effectively achieve business goals, build the brand, and empower our patients.


Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze and identify new markets and customers, creating targeted, effective marketing campaigns and strategies to improve business results continuously.
  • Create and implement the organization's advertising and promotional activities, managing all content across communication channels and collateral.
  • Coordinate messaging to patients, ensuring awareness of services, healthcare updates, etc.
  • Identify tradeshows and community events in target markets to promote our services and generate sales leads, coordinate/participate in all event activities to assess effectiveness, and report results to the leadership team.
  • Manage and oversee external resources (such as writers, graphic designers, etc.) and builds productive relationships to ensure high-quality, effective campaigns.
  • Negotiate and recommend contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
  • Develop networks and relationships with various media outlets to maximize positive public relations and communications.
  • Maintain knowledge of existing and emerging products and services.
  • Conduct research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.
  • Proactive, transparent communication and collaboration with senior leadership, effectively engaging in business planning and review.
  • Define and manages the marketing budget in support of department and overall company goals.
  • Track performance measurements and impact of marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and membership in professional associations for personal and professional development.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or other relevant experience is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written composition and language skills, are required. Ability to present ideas and findings clearly and concisely in written, oral, and graphic form.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with media partners and negotiate media buys.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in aligning strategies and allocating resources within budget to achieve business goals - resourceful, productive, efficient.
  • Ability to create, implement, and accurately manage budgets and other financial information.
  • Effective time management - effective organization and coordination of processes to meet deadlines.
  • Strongly self-motivated, self-aware, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
