Human Resources Business Partner Manager

The HR Business Partner Manager assigned to the Global Operations and Technology Group is a strategic partner to the executives in that group and region. In this role, you will provide high level HR support to help drive the business strategy for the Wafer Fabs located in Beaverton, OR and Camas, WA. The successful incumbent will be the face of HR to the business in collaboration with other HR team members to identify and implement appropriate solutions and drive organizational effectiveness to achieve desired business results.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve a deep understanding of the business strategy, goals and objectives; provide consultation to leaders on organization effectiveness and support organizational changes by developing and implementing appropriate change management plans.
  • Coach and develop key leaders to build a strong team and providing feedback on personal and leadership effectiveness.
  • Develop and refine workforce plans connected to business strategy.
  • Work alongside leaders to drive clear communication initiatives within assigned groups to ensure clarity of the strategy, culture and drive accountability through the organization. Partner with the site leader to prepare sitewide communications to update employees on items ranging from compliance to engagement.
  • Drive performance management and succession planning process within client groups to identify, develop and retain key talent.
  • Partner with the leadership team to drive employee development programs within the group to support career growth and retention.
  • Work with business leaders to identify, establish and implement employee engagement actions.
  • Provide appropriate advice and counsel to your client groups in a timely manner. Ensure policies and practices are followed, working in partnership with Legal, and other appropriate departments.
  • Lead a site-wide Labor and Human Relations Committee, which is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws as well as customer requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a small consisting of HR Business Partners and HR Generalists delivering HR programs for employees in Beaverton and Camas in support of business objectives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. An MBA or a graduate degree in human resources is highly desirable.
  • The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 8+ years of increasingly responsible experience in human resources driving business outcomes with strong organizational development skills, knowledge and tools.
  • Previous HR experience in a manufacturing environment and/or technology field is preferred.
  • Business Acumen - understands the business model, operations, and financial structure for the organization.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, results and team orientation and a commitment to the highest level of integrity are required to be successful in the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence members of senior leadership.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of local HR laws and practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership characteristics and direct talent leadership skills
