Job description
Oregon State University Human Resources seeks two HR Strategic Partners.
As an HR Strategic Partner you'll be part of a team that knows our work directly benefits Oregon State University's more than 30,000 students and 6,700 employees. You'll translate organizational priorities into actions that attract, develop and retain talent critical to the success of your clients. You'll be a key consultant and trusted advisor to leaders, maintaining literacy about their finances, operating position and culture. You'll build partnerships with university stakeholders and leaders to deliver employee services that add value and advance equity, inclusivity, belonging and diversity in all its forms. You'll be a change agent, helping the university and your clients take steps to achieve OSU's vision, mission and goals.
We value your experience advising leaders on complex matters from talent management to organizational development. Your prior actions to meaningfully address inequities, reduce bias and improve accessibility are also important in this role. Change management experience is valuable, as is your ability to facilitate difficult conversations. Our highly collaborative team will help you understand OSU and the academic environment.
We offer market-competitive salaries and an exceptional employee benefits package that includes your choice of hybrid pension or defined contribution employee-directed retirement plan. Ongoing education for you and your dependents is encouraged, with tuition costs reduced to 30% of the per-credit resident undergraduate rate for many programs. Paid leaves include vacation, sick and family medical. We work mainly from OSU's campus in Corvallis, Oregon, with situational flexibility depending on client needs.
