About the Job

We have an exciting opening for a Residential Associate position. This position requires that applicants have the ability to work as a member of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness; to support the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions; perform housekeeping and meal preparation; medication administration; and keep accurate clinical documentation. If you have experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Assistant (RA), Residential Counselor, Skills Trainer, or Caregiving for a client experiencing severe mental illness, then this position might be a good fit for you!

Work Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week), 3 -10 hour day shifts and 1 - 10 hour swing shift.

What You'll Make

Starting at $17.50+ per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $1.50 per hour graveyard shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am.

About the Program

River Bridge (at the Heeran Center) is a 16-bed, Secure Residential Treatment Facility located in Eugene, Oregon, operated by ColumbiaCare Services. There, clients who are affected by severe and persistent mental illness receive quality treatment, stabilization and work towards recovery. The River Bridge program will serve 8 adults under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatric Security Review Board, and another 8 adults that are under civil commitment.


What You'll Need

1 out of 3 Criteria below:

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Human Development;
  • OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable mental health experience working with individuals living with a serious mental illness in a supervised social service setting;
  • OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental mental health experience and training
