Summary: Seeking a Production Manager that will be responsible for overseeing our Production facility.

Reports to: Director of Operations
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Participates in the hiring and training of department leads.
- Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of department leads.
- Conducts annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive as well as conducting check-ins/one-on-ones.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for all production employees include staffing, training, and reviews.
- Manage the production leads to ensure understanding and adherence to the schedule and quality goals.
- Monitor and improve utilization and efficiency of production personnel and resources.
- Establish and maintain cost and time standards with engineering for all projects.
- Drive production to meet these established time standards.
- Working with scheduling, establish production schedules and ensure they are met
- With the quality department, resolve all product related issues and to set and maintain performance to quality objectives,
- Advise the management team on process, staffing, equipment, and facility improvements to support the company's continued growth.
- Monitor preventive maintenance programs to ensure on time completion of maintenance and report issues to facilities manager.
- Any additional tasks as requested or required to help Fusion achieve its goals.
Requirements
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Must be a US person.
- Ability to work from written English work instructions required.
- Highly skilled in generating and analyzing reports in Excel.
- This position reports to the executive staff so effective communication skills are required.
Education and Work Experience:
- 4-year degree preferably in engineering or business. This may be waived based on experience.
- Minimum of 5 years production management experience in electronics assembly.
- APICS certification is desired.
