Account Executive - Healthtech Public Relations

About the role

In this role you will be responsible for assisting senior leadership in executing strategic PR campaigns to consistently secure results for some of the most revolutionary health executives and scientists in the world. You are a confident communicator that thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment. You are able to immediately contribute to an award-winning team that is dedicated to accelerating the understanding and adoption of the most innovative health technologies.

Responsibilities

• Media relations - Support media relations programs including active pitching and development of media lists, media landscape analyses and trend research, briefing sheets, campaigns, coverage tracking, and coverage reports.

• Speaking events - Support pitch efforts to place Thermal clients at leading business, health and life sciences trade conferences and industry events.

• Social media - Support development of strategy, content, and campaigns to amplify media activities.

• Writing and content - Utilize excellent writing and fast editing capabilities to help shape client stories and messaging. Develop a variety of content for a range of audiences, including creating and producing press releases, pitches, messaging and positioning platforms, website copy, op-eds, media backgrounders, fact sheets, award submissions, social media posts, video scripts, coverage reports and analysis, talking points and Q&A's, etc.

• Client management - Assist with the development and execution of client PR strategy, proactively manage client needs, support account management and planning, and prioritize workload based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.

• Business development - Participate in agency new business development initiatives with research, industry tracking, and pipeline development.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience working specifically in healthcare, healthtech, digital health or science communications or journalism

• Public relations agency experience preferred

• Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills

• Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve within tight deadlines

• Multi-tasking problem solver with attention to detail, tone and context

• Direct and transparent interpersonal communication skills

• Polished, professional and timely

• Genuine interest in biotech, scientific and health technologies and services
