Job description

The Project Manager (Inside Sales) primary duty is to support the Account Managers by managing multiple projects for their customers. This includes submittals, O&M's and purchasing HVAC products for the projects in a profitable manner.


Project Managers work closely with the Account Manager(s) to generate sales by means of utilizing the Bid Department, private bids, negotiated bids or promotion of commonly stocked products.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote new business, maintain and grow existing business
  • Produce documents required to manage projects clearly and effectively: submittals, quotes, letter of transmittal, installation and operation maintenance data, sales orders, RGAs/credits.
  • Read and understand construction documents (e.g. "blueprints", Specifications, Change Orders, Request For Information, etc.)
  • Initiate and receive phone calls with assigned and unassigned customers in an effort to meet departmental and/or company sales goals, and to develop and maintain customer accounts
  • Promote new and add-on products with customers
  • Continual improvement of personal and occupational time management
  • Be responsible for neat and organized management of all paper and electronic files and quotes so that others can locate and understand your work
  • Generate project quotes - both Plan & Spec as well as negotiated and design/build quotes
  • Demonstrate great team work and communication skills

Preferences Include:


  • Light commercial and residential HVAC product sales
  • Wholesale and retail sales experience
  • General HVAC product knowledge
  • HVAC field experience welcomed
  • Two years customer service
  • Mechanical aptitude

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Bluebeam
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
