Job description

Gregory Funding in search of a Litigation Manager to join our team! This position manages our Litigation and Bankruptcy teams and is responsible for ensuring staff effectively manage and represent loan portfolios through the foreclosure and bankruptcy process to meet investor guidelines, minimize risk and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. What you will do

* Ensure foreclosures are initiated and completed per investor and regulatory guidelines
* Manage bankruptcy caseload to ensure loans in bankruptcy are managed correctly per regulatory requirements and company standards.
* Manage a network of third-party attorneys that represent the company in legal matters across the nation.
* Hire, train, develop and coach bankruptcy and foreclosure team members
* Identify and resolve operational and performance gaps and obstacles; recommend and implement changes and improvements to scale for company growth

What we are looking for

* 10+ years demonstrated mortgage servicing and management experience with a comprehensive understanding of foreclosure and related proceedings
* Proven track record of effectively assessing and balancing risks to make business decisions
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access
* Excellent analytical and research experience and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and achieve objectives, and meet deadlines while managing a team
* Ability to quickly build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
