This is a great opportunity for a Designated or Managing Broker to join our dynamic leadership team. We see tremendous opportunity for growth in SW Washington.
General Purpose of the Position:
The primary role of the Managing Broker is to increase revenue and leverage our value proposition to recruit agents and to help them grow their businesses across multiple offices.
You will empower agents to create business plans that increase listing inventory and sales while providing effective training programs that help brokers acquire customers, negotiate deals, and complete paperwork for the sale/listing accurately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To The Below:
- Assist with weekly sales meetings that provide value to the agents, their business, and company operations.
- Interview and recruit agents from the community and outlying areas. Assist with onboarding as needed.
- Mentor agents in their businesses and guide them to increase their sphere of influence. Conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Review Company Policy and Procedures; train new agents in the Company on tools and brand in conjunction with Compliance, and Training Department.
- Attend local MLS Tours to represent Company and promote the professionalism of our agents.
- Collaborate and assist the Marketing Department in the development of a marketing calendar to promote the office during events. Assist Marketing in creating opportunities for agents to promote themselves within the community.
- Answer agent questions, and resolve agent issues. Bring compliance issues to agent's attention when queued by Compliance Manager. Agent support and be available on an on-call or rotational with other Managing Brokers as reasonably needed on weekends and holidays for agents.
- Resolve listing, transaction, and commission issues for agents when required by Transactions and Listings Coordinators.
- Manage office staff (if applicable), floor time and office coverage
- Represent the company at selected events
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A Washington Managing Broker's Designation License required, with willingness to get and Oregon Principal Brokers License if not already dual licensed.
- Thorough working knowledge of applicable real estate laws in Washington.
- Excellent customer service and client relationship skills.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Occasional Travel to Regional Offices may be required.
- Must possess a valid Oregon or Washington State driver's license.
- Physical requirements, such as lifting, reaching, bending, carrying, walking, sitting, etc. are required
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and brokers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Frequently work at a faster pace with frequent interruptions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
