The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.
The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo's risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.
The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.
As part of the Data Insight & Analytics (DIA) reporting team under COO Operations Utilities, this position is responsible for developing data model workflows to generate innovative ideas around the simplification of model deployment. The Power BI Analytic Consultant will partner with the Product Owner and scrum development team to build dashboards that deliver meaningful analytics and reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop complex analytical models that provide data-driven insights for a wide array of business initiatives
- Summarize complex data that addresses client problems to client stakeholders using reporting visuals
- Design and implement Power BI reports, visualizations, and dashboards across various topics and define required supporting data architecture
- Support the technical build-out of various reporting / BI tools that enable analysis, modeling, and / or advanced data visualization
- Transform large complex data into easy- to-understand reports
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant documentation (e.g. Training materials, Business Procedures, Playbook) is up-to-date after every Sprint
- Apply problem solving skills to solution and collaboration, offer data driven conclusions
- Ensure compliance with the organization's policies and technology standards
- Attend and Participate in all Scrum ceremonies including: sprint planning, sprint refinement, daily Scrum, etc.
- Participate in Software & Hardware deployments
- Lead projects and mentor junior level staff
- The DIA team leverages the Scrum/Agile methodology to build a highly talented, scalable, and sustainable function for advanced business intelligence tools to strengthen data governance, implement more effective controls and deploy real-time monitoring.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
- 4+ years of SQL experience
- 4+ years of data analysis experience
- 4 + years of SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and SSAS experience
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence tools
Other Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of Microsoft Power BI experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft TFS/DevOps
- Experience developing executive level dashboards, analytics, and reports from large datasets
- Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
- Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
- Experience leading meetings with local and remote attendees
- Ability to quickly learn, retain, and apply business rules, processes, and terminology
- Ability to pick-up new concepts and skills quickly
- Possess a strong determination to overcome obstacles

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
