UCP Oregon is currently seeking a Provider Coordinator who will work in one of our intellectual/developmental disabilities support services brokerage, which is known as UCP Mentors. The Brokerage Team primarily consists of a Brokerage Director, Personal Agents, Assessors, and the Admin/Operations team.
As a Provider Coordinator you will oversee onboarding and credentialing of new providers, ongoing training and credentialing of the existing provider pool, oversee payment for services to customers, address problems, and support administrative processes that ensure access to paid supports for customers.
The Provider Coordinator will work with the Operations Manager, the Admin team, and case managers to create an efficient working environment and complete essential tasks to meet the charge of assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The successful candidate will be excited about supporting the work of others and being the go-to person that ensures seamless access to paid supports. They will be a self-starter and adept at collaborating with a close-knit team that come from diverse backgrounds. This candidate will be a well-rounded individual who is able to calmly navigate at times intense situations while maintaining professional boundaries. They will play a key role in UCPs progressive mission within the field of developmental disabilities.
You will partner closely with our Operations Manager to ensure customer services are running smoothly, including:
* Managing provider credentialing.
* Overseeing twice monthly billing processes for providers using the States billing system, eXPRS.
* Completing tasks such as data entry, provider compliance, and billing.
* Providing excellent services to customers, providers, and team members.
* Acting as a Department of Human Services Background Check Unit Qualified Entity Designee to complete background checks.
* Assisting with special projects and taking the lead on projects as assigned.
Hours & Location:
* This is a 40-hour per week job. Typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm or 9am to 5:30pm but may vary at times due to brokerage needs. Additional hours will rarely be required.
* The Provider Coordinator works full-time at our office located at NE 102nd Avenue.

Requirements
* 2+ years of experience performing administrative assistant, project management, data management and/or provider coordinator duties. Bachelors degree in business, accounting, social services, education, or other relevant degrees can substitute for 2 years of experience.
* Proficient in the use of Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
* Can pass an extensive criminal history check in order to qualify as a Qualified Entity Designee and conduct criminal history checks.
* Applicants with a background working with people with disabilities, in the brokerage system, or in social services will be strongly preferred.
* Applicants that have demonstrated written/verbal fluency in a second language including ASL will be strongly preferred.
* All UCP Oregon, Brokerage employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have an approved medical or religious exception. If you are hired, you will need to provide proof of vaccination (or obtain an approved exception) prior to starting work.

* $17.50 per hour. Annual wage increase based on satisfactory performance.
