Job description

Gregory Funding is currently seeking a Senior Litigation Specialist. This position will be responsible for managing a group of delinquent mortgage loans from default to foreclosure sale and ensuring the foreclosure process is completed accurately and in adherence to state and investor timelines. Our ideal candidate has an eye for process improvement and thrives in a fast paced and high growth environment.

What you will do

* Have expert knowledge of best-in class mortgage servicing practices, regulatory requirements, and procedures
* Drive timelines and resolve issues using a hands-on approach by working with internal departments, agencies, vendors, our investors, and attorneys
* Review and prepare referrals, bidding instructions, sale results affidavits, certifications, and other related documents for execution

What we are looking for

* 5+ years of demonstrated mortgage servicing experience, focusing on litigation and/or default servicing
* Working knowledge of mortgage banking, familiarity with RESPA, FFDCPA, GLBA, and federal and state laws related to foreclosure and bankruptcy processes
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Access
* Excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail and quality
* Ability to prioritize work on multiple projects and manage to tight deadlines
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong research, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
* Ability to work extended hours as needed
* Ability to travel up to 20% domestically with advance notice
