We have an outstanding leadership opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager serving our Project Management, Construction Management, and Owner's Representative business group. You will lead a talented team with an excellent industry reputation with current marquis key clients. With your existing client contacts and team leadership skills, combined with organizational support at the highest level, the sky's the limit for growth and the ability to attract top talent.
Based in the Oregon and Southwest Washington (OR/SWWA) office, you will execute a business development plan and work with the Local Business Unit Leaders, Director of Business Development and Marketing, Regional Business Development Manager, and the Marketing Manager, to maintain and develop client relationships, connect Day CPM/Otak to client needs, lead the pursuit team in all positioning and proposal phases of winning new work and lead project teams in quality project delivery.

What you'll do:
This is a key opportunity for an individual who has demonstrated strong business acumen and development skills, ability to lead client relationships with key strategic clients, and the delivery of municipal and private projects within the local market. Key responsibilities include:
Identify specific opportunities to build our project pipeline to assist the business group in meeting annual revenue goals.
Responsible for maintaining assigned business development goals for the PMCM business group.
Identify strategic business opportunities and partnerships aligned with our OR/SWWA strategy offering all Otak company services.
Lead strategic client pursuits in partnership with regional business development and marketing professionals.
Support and participate in local or regional conferences and events.
Strong project delivery background in project management, construction management and owner's representative services.
Manage multi-disciplinary resources to deliver projects on schedule and budget and according to individual client critical success factors.
Ensure that we are providing services that add to the value of our clients' strategic goals and initiatives toward meeting their objectives.
As the Principal-in Charge, lead project teams in delivering project management, construction management and owner's representative services throughout the region.
Supervise and coordinate the work of others on projects including remote discipline staff to ensure proper and timely execution on projects.
Support the OR/SWWA operation in collaboration with other business group managers, local and regional and marketing staff
Network and collaborate with colleagues across Otak's key regional offices in Puget Sound, Washington and Louisville, Colorado.
Maintain a positive organizational health culture supporting all corporate initiatives including but not limited to our Diversity and Inclusion program and GO Committee supporting our commitment to the environment.
Utilize internal systems for communication, tracking and collaboration on projects and opportunities.
What you bring:
B.S. degree in construction management, architecture, engineering. DBIA and/or PMP certification desired.
10-15+ or more years of related experience providing leadership in the public and/or private sector working collaboratively with design and construction teams to facilitate successful project delivery of capital projects or programs.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Previous supervisory experience with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to successfully manage clients and projects and collaboratively interface with Otak's regional experts, as well as to mentor staff.
Self-starter, results-oriented and ability to work under tight deadlines
Establish and maintain solid work relationships, through communication, cooperation, and positive interaction with team members and all other departments.
Work with others to prevent problems and find a solution when issues arise.
Resourceful and tenacious at making decisions and solving problems. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources.
Proven technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually are required.
Ability to motivate others and lead teams to implement plans for projects and client pursuits.
Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experience.
