Kerr by Ingredion is hiring for a Business Development Manager based at the Salem, OR location.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the Sr. Manager of Business Development to drive profitable growth for the Kerr business in the US and Canada. Collaborating with all organizational functions to assure alignment across the business in order to rapidly move the existing Innovations projects through the "go/no go" decision process. This role will be customer facing as appropriate to execute business strategies.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of business case creation for investments as well as the strategic planning and execution process and updates
• Responsible for food show management, planning and overseeing trade shows
• Monitor food industry trends and identify opportunities for leadership consideration
• Collaborate with corporate marketing to assure alignment and leverage best practices and cost efficiencies
• Execute sustainability positioning/communication strategies beyond EHS metrics
• Support execution of commercial goals with a focus on existing and future innovation opportunities
• Maintain and develop Kerr's brand messaging. Will be responsible for all aspects of the digital sales platform.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration required, Masters degree preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in the food industry
• An ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment that stresses "Owners Mindset" and is comfortable with decision making responsibilities
• Experience working in a collaborative manner and influencing others outside of functional reporting lines
• Proficient computer skills and digital marketing experience
• Strong project management skills
