Pacific Coast Producers, one of the nation's top food production companies, is seeking to fill an industrial Electrician position with a highly capable person. This position is based in Salem, OR.

Applicants should have relevant maintenance and repair experience and be considered a high-precision or skilled tradesperson. Rate of pay will be DOE.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform or direct maintenance wiring, installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing, and power circuits. Interface with equipment including automatic machine and process controls, control centers and panels, relays, circuit breakers, electronic controls, tape actuated controls, and other equipment involving electronical circuits.
• Utilize, assemble, and install applicable wire, conduit, switches, panels, fuses, etc.
• Read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams, as well as charts, sketches, and operating instructions.
• Inspect motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating, and power circuits.
• Make preventative and running repairs and connections.
• Perform or direct the installation, connection, adjustment, repair, overhaul, and/or calibration of electrical gauges, and recording instruments, controls, and related equipment.
• Detect and correct potential failures, or faulty electrical or instrument operations.
• Make layout of electrical circuits.
• Make up material and parts lists. Obtain and maintain an adequate supply of tools and parts.

• Capable English communication skills.
• Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
• High school graduate or equivalent required. Two (2) years' experience in the industrial electrical field is required; food production or process operations is preferred.
• MUST possess current Oregon Plant Journeyman or General Journeyman License. Out-of-state applicants encouraged to apply if can meet State of Oregon reciprocal licensing requirements, or meet the requirements specified by Form No. 2570 at
• Pass an applicable pre-employment exam with an 80%+ score.
• Committed to safety and food safety, including use of appropriate protective equipment.
• Self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills.
