Pay range for HNE $47,590 to $76,215 depending on experience.
Position Summary:
The Chemical Supply Planner is responsible for planning raw materials to support the demands of the factory. The planner is the primary communicator of forecasts, purchase requisitions and deliveries. The Chemical Planner will work with various cross functional teams, including demand planners, internal operational work centers, logistics and finance employees.
Position Responsibilities:
1) Schedule chemical supplies to ensure optimal production and inventory levels.
2) Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks.
3) Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
4) Develop thorough working knowledge of assigned commodities and associated supplier base.
5) Analyze Goods Receipt / Inventory Receipt report and correct any discrepancies or blocked invoices to resolve issues with suppliers.
6) Develop and improve standard work to enable Buyer Planners to support one another during illness and vacation.
7) Maintain SAP Master Data for your assigned SKU's
8) Support Purchasing and Supplier Quality Manager with Supplier Performance Report Cards.
Preferred Skills & Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred, AA degree or equivalent experience in operations, planning, purchasing or finance role.
Advanced MS Excel skills (databases, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, graphing). Ability to develop and maintain planning models in Excel spreadsheets for material requirements planning, operational capacity and inventory projection for their commodities.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Carestream Quality Advocate certified (Lean & Six Sigma) within first 6 months of hire, (This is an on-the-job training class).
ERP system experience in a Planning role; SAP preferred.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools and Six Sigma data analysis and improvement plans.
Knowledge of all aspects of the quote to cash cycle, and strong understanding of planning, purchasing, operations, logistics and finance functions.
APICS Certification preferred.
