This Business Analyst is responsible for providing teams with the technical and tactical support they need to deliver high quality work efficiently and effectively to the customer. Our agile teams ask all to be leaders in their roles, and the Business Analyst is no exception; versatility, strong collaboration, and execution of a variety of activities help the team, Scrum Master, and others operate smoothly and deliver excellence to our customers.

Responsibilities - (not limited to)

  • Collaborate with others to influence stakeholders and grow buy-in of business projects
  • Coordinate with project team members and other teams to produce better business outcomes
  • Execute epics, features, and user stories, defining acceptance criteria and tests on behalf of the Product Owner and answering clarifying questions on any requirements.
  • Perform acceptance testing on behalf of the Product Owner
  • Produce training materials and user guides and trains end users
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Examine user issues and translates them into user stories
  • Document business processes, system flows, and data flows; analyzes processes; and recommends improvements
  • Construct workflow diagrams
  • Document issues/risks
  • Support the Product Owner and Scrum Master as needed
  • Assist in operational rollout and support
  • Collect and analyzes data for potential business expansion
  • Identify specific business opportunities


Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced or ambiguous environments
  • Demonstrated experience of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
  • Demonstrated experience with writing epics, features, and user stories
  • Demonstrated experience defining acceptance criteria, tests, ready, and done on behalf of the Product Owner and answering clarifying questions on requirements
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence (preferred) or other agile workflow management tools
  • Demonstrated experience performing acceptance testing on behalf of Product Owner
  • Ability to examine user issues and translate them into user stories
  • Ability to operate and manage work, strategically reason, build relationships, and influence others
  • Degree in the field of Statistics, Computer Science or Data Science preferred

Location: 100% Remote, be able to work in EST time zone.
