Digital Business Analyst - Vaccines Commercial Operations North America
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Digital Business Analyst (DBA) - is a member of the Vaccines Digital ComOps North America Product Line Team. This team is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of digital products through their lifecycle. The Business Analyst acts as the intermediary between the business and Digital, using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to help business stakeholders achieve their needs through optimal solutions.
This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders: Business stakeholders, Service Line Leaders, Architects, Technology, Service Owners, Program & project managers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and analyze business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service.
- Provide consultative support on technology initiatives.
- Support the creation of prototypes and innovative solutions.
- Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends.
- Work with Digital and Business stakeholders to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs; understand the customer journey and support defining user requirements.
- Engage with Digital and Business stakeholders and influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands.
- Promote architectural consistency and usability standards,
- Identify opportunities for delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information.
- Leverage data and facts to identify patterns, uses judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom, and focuses on the issues to identify high leverage intervention points and strategies.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Liaise with teams to identify system requirements, including those required to meet applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity standards.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders, business case development, and rollout / adoption planning of systems or products.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment including the ability to maintain relationships and understand different business models and processes that may vary.
- Applied use of Agile methodology.
Functional Knowledge / Skills In The Following Areas:
- Experience as Business Analyst is preferred.
- Good knowledge of business operations and best practices.
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Understand and live Agile methodology.
- Comfortable from one-on-one to large group presentations.
- Experience of running meetings and working sessions.
- Experience of full life cycle projects from initial scoping through to delivery.
- Interest in technical topics.
- Interest in hands-on experience.
- Experience commercial applications (e.g., eCommerce, ERP, Business Intelligence Tools, CRM) with functional and technical experience a plus.
General Knowledge / Skills Required:
- System development processes and practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen and incorporate feedback into positive results.
- Functional analyst skills with documented successes.
- Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
- Must be able to work well under time constraints.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned.
