Facilities Technician

What you would do as our Facilities Technician

The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting the HVAC Tech in installing, inspecting, and repairing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in accordance to all state and local codes and regulations.

You would also:

• Assist in the troubleshooting and repair HVAC system issues
• Inspect and assist in making needed repairs on current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity.
• Prioritize Work Orders for the purpose of addressing health and safety risks first.
• Maintains records on repairs and service on equipment through the departmental software.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

1. Ability to work with a wide range of hand and power tools.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
3. Basic math skills
4. Proficient computer skills
5. Ability to operate boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts
6. Ability to climb ladders.
