Job Title: Recruiting COE Lead

Job Summary: The Recruiting COE Lead is responsible for driving excellence by leading the development of new strategies, special programs, methodologies, tools and measurements related to the entire recruiting lifecycle throughout all Corporate and Store Operations. This role will focus on overseeing the strategic design and implementation of enterprise Recruiting programs, building a roadmap for continuous improvement of our enterprise Recruiting processes / offerings, and benchmarking our programs against industry best practices / emerging trends. Partner and collaborate with organization's leaders, Talent Acquisition, People Team Business Partners, and DEI to implement changes and program updates. Oversee and lead consulting team charged with recruiting strategy design, facilitation, and delivery.
Principal Duties:
- Manage Recruiting Center of Excellence team and facilitate the development of strategy by supervising and directing team's effort to facilitate co-design.
- Provide thought leadership to Recruiting Center of Excellence team and partners, staying apprised of market-leading practices / trends and crafting a roadmap / strategy for Wawa recruiting.
- Benchmark existing Wawa Recruiting strategy, processes, and offerings against industry best practices and emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee the design of external employment brand in partnership with Total Rewards, Associate Experience, Talent Acquisition, and Wawa commercial brand teams. Lead the development of corresponding digital and marketing presence leveraging our Career Page, Linked In, social media, and other assets.
- Oversee the design of end-to-end candidate experience roadmap with a focus on inclusion, as well as the associated technology and supporting materials leveraged at each stage of the process. Lead the development of new tools and create corresponding metrics and measurement approaches to continually evaluate approach and lead continuous improvement / enhancement efforts.
- Oversee the development of end-to-end, comprehensive strategy for internal and external partnerships. Drive quarterly and annual review to evaluate portfolio of partnerships for quality and effectiveness. Lead efforts to create new partnerships and close gaps in current portfolio as needed.
- Oversee the development of end-to-end, comprehensive strategy for sourcing with key focus on targeted skills, positions, and identifying diverse sources of talent. Drive quarterly and annual review to evaluate job boards and other sourcing mechanisms for quality and effectiveness. Lead efforts to create new candidate sourcing strategies and close gaps in current approach as needed.
- Lead the design of special recruiting programs and campaigns, including seasonal hiring strategy, internship programs, college graduate programs and supported employment program.
- Develop strategies, tools and measurement for onboarding, including the development of internal processes and procedures.
- Provide overall direction to the collection and analysis of recruiting metrics, providing guidance and direction to the company. Make continual assessments as to what are the right metrics to collect to gain the best insights about the workforce and the impact of both internal and external factors.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure effective management and communication of recruiting initiatives and programs.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business discipline preferred; advanced degree a plus
- 7-10 years' experience in Human Resource and/or Management
- 3- 5 leading Recruiting design and candidate experience design preferred
- 2 - 3 years' experience leading a matrix team
- 1 - 2 years' experience developing employment brand and programmatic approach
- Established credibility and ability to influence without authority
- Extensive understanding and knowledge of the organization
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
