The Financial Analyst for St. Luke's Physician Group ("SLPG") is responsible for preparing the financial information for SLPG Providers and analyzing expense and revenue variances as it relates to the SLPG providers. Financial Analyst maintains various Revenue, Expense, and Pay-For-Performance schedules and coordinates the timely distribution of the financial information for the SLPG providers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer SLPG Providers' monthly and/or quarterly compensation incentive projections.
• Prepare monthly communication for the dissemination of SLPG Physicians' monthly compensation projections.
• Review existing and incoming employment agreements and amendments to employee agreements and assist in establishing amendments.
• Notify colleagues of pending Signing Bonuses, Tail Coverage Repayments or changes in CMEs.
• Contact and resolve inquiries for Physicians as it relates to the Compensation Projection, Incentive Bonus Draw requests, and salary draw adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries related to Physician Incentive Bonus Projections, Incentive Bonus Draws, Retention Bonus, Honoraria and Payroll related accruals.
• Reconcile related accounts to General Ledger
• Assist and compile information for external audits.
• Monitor Pay For Performance as of percent of charges by Physician Prepare and document all related procedures.
• Prepare Financial Monthly trend analysis for all SLPG Physicians.
• Maintain database for SLPG Employee Agreements.
• Compile data and complete benchmark Compensation Surveys for various companies.
• Act as liaison between SLPG Physician and SLPG Management/ SLUHN Payroll, as it relates to salary increases, incentive bonus requests, and retention bonuses, tail expense coverage repayments.
• Act as liaison between SLPG Regional Managers and SLPG Managements as it relates to changes/compensation expirations/minor separation agreements in employee agreements.
• Maintain appropriate supporting documents and working papers for all financial transactions and analyses.
• Maintain confidentiality of all materials handled within SLPG, as well as the proper release of information.

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time. Continuously uses fingers and hands for typing, data entry, etc. Uses upper extremities to lift up to 30 pounds. Frequently stoops, bends, and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation and telephone. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, and peripheral vision. Visual monotony when reading reports and viewing computer screen.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing Accounting and/or Financial Analysis work, as well as preparation of financial statements required.
