Job Description
As the Director of Business Development for Action Services Group, you will be the leading force behind the Sales team. This position will champion the company's business development strategy and develop business relationships while scaling a high-performing Sales Team contrived of the best talent, exceeding pipeline goals, and supporting our organization's overall revenue growth objectives.
This person will own the management of the sales funnel and is responsible for converting leads into projects by stewarding them through the Business Development process. This is an incredible opportunity to provide a significant impact in growing all aspects of our EV charging, solar, and battery storage business.
We are looking for a strong Sales Leader with a history of success growing revenue in an organization that is scaling rapidly. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales executive with experience selling complex solutions to major enterprises. There is a strong preference for candidates who are dealmakers, and who have experience in EV charging, solar, or battery storage. This is a chance to be part of our expansion plans as we grow our energy division.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and virtual environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printer/scanner.
Position Type/Hours
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, usually travel related.
Key Responsibilities
· Own and drive execution of Action Services Group's pipeline goals by understanding and analyzing top-of-the-funnel metrics, and revenue influenced across multiple market segments.
· Identify, contact, recruit, mentor, coach, and motivate a sales team to exceed the quarterly and annual team sales goals set for Action Services Group.
· Perform revenue forecasts and win/loss reports that illustrate your team's overall performance against quotas
· Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Inside Sales and Specialty Projects Manager.
· Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales team, while maintaining focus on the company strategic goals
· Establish performance goals for sales team and monitor performance on a continual basis
· Develop or participate with Senior Staff in the development of the Strategic Business Plan
· Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Word, and CRM Applications
· Ability to excel and multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Friendly, positive, outgoing personality who relates well and gets along with people
Skills and Experience
· 7-10-yr of professional sales experience with a track record of leading a team of high performing, pipeline generating, deal closing members in a fast-growing high technology company
· Demonstrated success in strategic sales in a business-to-business sales environment.
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
· Experience working successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
· Ability to multi-task and manage under pressure and tight timelines to achieve positive outcomes.
· Experience in EV charging is a plus.
· Experience in solar is a plus.
· Experience in facility services is a plus.
Travel Requirements
Expected initial travel is 5% but additional travel could be required as new business is developed.
