Job description

What makes a good recruiter?

Good recruiters don't just perform their daily tasks well. They make sure their company continuously attracts and keeps good people. Recruiters don't necessarily have to come from HR backgrounds. Experience in sales, design, marketing, customer service, and a variety of other fields can foster good recruiting skills.


Capabilities:

  • Build relationships (stay in touch with candidates, clients, references, internal stakeholders)
  • Think Ahead (anticipate vs. wait)
  • Play well with hiring managers and your team (navigate, communicate, collaborate)
  • Keep an open mind (don't just think out of the box, but be able to look around the corners)
  • Empathize (put yourself in someone's shoes to better understand and connect with them)
  • Play multiple roles (marketing, sales, psychologist, advisor)
  • Self-improve (able to turn challenges into opportunities and failures into examples to avoid)
  • Represent (you are the company ambassador and candidate experience pilot)
  • Are brilliant with the basics (master the basics with respect and professionalism)


Experience:

  • Connect with prospective candidates (phone/text/email/in person) to qualify interest.
  • Candidate screens based on job requirements (internal and external roles).
  • Provide candidate summaries for submission (internal and external roles).
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and candidates for candidate reviews, etc.
  • Ensure candidates are prepped for interviews and debrief sessions post-interviews.
  • Complete required reference checks.
  • Extend offers.
  • Ensure that candidate data (resumes, pre-screens, references, etc.,) is entered into Fidato's ATS.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of consulting or staffing industry experience recruiting and/or sales experience
