How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Digital Business Analyst will work in the Airgas Web Operations Team reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Product Management. This position is responsible for development and maintenance of functional requirements and business process solutions in support of Airgas Web Operations business utilizing Hybris functionality, SAP ERP and various eCommerce software solutions. The ability to analyze, design, test and implement systems which enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives is critical to the success of this role. The successful Digital Business Analyst must be an advocate for the end-users to build and improve features based on their pain points by incorporating UX principles into all designsIn particular, you will:.
  • Facilitate meetings (in-persona and virtual) with cross-functional teams, including IT, Product Management, QA, Merchandising, Analytics, Marketing, Customer Service, etc to elicit business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Gathers, specifies, prioritizes and documents requirements for mobile, Airgas.com and Airgas Supply Sync platforms.
  • Owns the documentation process (creation, communication, approval) for requirements documents and end-user training documents.
  • Develop detailed business requirements documents including use cases and flow diagrams.
  • Support all stages of product creation including design, development, and testing.
  • Conduct end-user surveys and tests on an as-needed basis.
  • Perform strategic competitor analysis of eCommerce features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or other related Information Technology field or an equivalent. combination of education and work experience eCommerce industry.
  • 1-3 years of Business Analyst experience in the eCommerce industry.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent projects.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce - commercial transactions conducted electronically on the internet via a web store or a native mobile application.
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce architecture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles.
  • Detailed oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Strong work ethic and general business acumen.
  • Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative.
  • Experience with system development life cycle.
  • Good judgment and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
  • Proficient with Google suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
