We are currently seeking an FP&A Analyst on our Financial Planning & Analysis team. The FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting all FP&A activities including month end reporting, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning. This position reports to the Senior FP&A Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who an exceptional eye for data and reporting accuracy combined with a growing interest and skillset in the fundamentals of FP&A. The role provides the opportunity to see the P&L moves and learn how the business (Need to sell the FP&A experience of seeing the "big picture" and WFH).

Due to the small size of the FP&A team, its entrepreneurial culture and close support of the BBU CFO and President, the FP&A Analyst role is highly visible and has tremendous opportunity for career growth. FP&A Analyst liaises with the Director of FP&A on a regular basis, provides reports to VP of BBU Finance and maintains relationships with cross functional teams.

Position Summary:

  • Prepare internal financial reporting, variance analysis, and key drivers of actual results vs forecast, plan and prior year.
  • Maintain a rolling forecast P&L (Net Sales through EBITDA) for BBU
  • Partner with Senior Manager and Director of FP&A to prepare presentations for Senior Leadership team, including CFO and President
  • Support continuous improvement in financial operations through process changes and implementation of new technology
  • Develop decision support financial modeling and ad hoc financial analysis for relevant issues impacting the business

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of practical exposure in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management as well as to clearly communicate business results
  • Flexible, results-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Resourceful and self-motivated with a desire for self-improvement
  • Respond to needs in a timely manner and proactively anticipate what is needed by the individuals for whom he/she supports
  • Comfortable working from home/remote
