Responsibilities

  • Leading, directing and overseeing the People Function for NA (Team Advisory, Payroll and Recruiting) specific areas of focus include employee relations, talent acquisition and talent management, learning and development.
  • Responsible for Providing effective Business Partnering to the NA Global Senior Leaders, and local Leadership Team to ensure HR Priorities, Policies, Programs and Services align with Global company Strategy as well as local needs and objectives.
  • Implementation of global people initiatives and programs across NA
  • Ensuring that Services, Programs, Initiatives, Processes and Procedures enable the company to achieve high performance, team engagement & retention
  • Creating and fostering a safe, inclusive and divers working environment that supports a high-performance culture across the company in alignment with company values.
  • Providing thought leadership, guidance and council to the People Team and fostering a unified and cohesive team environment.
  • Providing HR solutions and services as a HR business Partner to the NA Leadership Team and NA based senior global leaders
  • In collaboration with local Global Senior Leaders and Global HR, implement, review & upgrade HR priorities on an annual basis
  • Ensuring effective and efficient deployment of HR Advisory across functions by continuously improving HR structure and business partner relationships
  • Lead, mentor and manage Team of HR Advisors to ensure service standards are met or exceeded
  • Ensuring legal compliance of HR Function across processes, procedures and policies
  • Lead the delivery and/or implementation of local as well as Group change and transformation initiatives
  • Providing Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Lead the NA talent management and merit review process in alignment with Global HR
  • Partnering with Safety, Health & Environment, including outsourced services
  • In collaboration with HSQA supporting company initiatives an employee well-being
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient deployment for team members across projects and regions (employee mobility)
  • Reporting and managing people metrics (retention, time to hire, turnover, % internal promotions, talent density, diversity and inclusion metrics, etc.) and implementation of local data-based interventions.
  • As part of the People Function senior leadership team responsible for delivering team centric HR service across NA
  • Ensuring the company's position as a competitive employer of choice

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in all aspects of HR Operations including HR policies and processes, US Employment Law and HR administration
  • Understanding of working in a multi-site role.
  • Clear understanding of service delivery and using metrics to manage performance to ensure a high-quality service
  • 5 years plus years of experience in a comparable HR leadership role
  • Professional certification preferred
  • Production/ Engineering industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a global matrix structure
  • International Mobility (temporary deployment of project based employees (A1, short term Visa, etc.)
