PURPOSE:

The Forklift Operator moves material, supplies and finished goods to designated areas utilizing a sit-down forklift and loads product onto trailers according to all Berry Global ISO and other established program requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED

1 year of Previous forklift operation (sit-down preferred)

Previous warehouse experience in loading/unloading trucks

Ability to do functional math (adding, subtracting, multiplying and division)

Experience working with; inventories, pick sheets, shipping and/or receiving of product

Must be dependable, reliable and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English

Ability to perform certain tasks such as lifting, and operate in a non-climate controlled facility.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pulls, loads and moves merchandise according to pick/ load sheets and all documents specific to each type of merchandise.

Uses equipment appropriate to each type of movement.

Will perform cycle counting, re-packaging of product and inventory consolidation duties.

Assists in physical inventories.

Will perform daily cleaning assignments in the warehouse.

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English

Ability to perform certain tasks such as lifting, working 12 hour rotating shifts, and operate in a non-climate controlled facility.
