Job Purpose

Responsible for all aspects of client service. Has responsibility to assist clients with payroll input, tax questions and resolve client issues.

Tasks

  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
  • Meet client payroll, Human Resource and employee benefit needs.
  • Contact clients daily to obtain payroll data, including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions or adjustments.
  • Keys all payroll-related data necessary to ensure processing of payroll.
  • High quality service to ensure a high rate of client retention.
  • Ongoing training and maintaining knowledge of payroll system and changes in wages and tax laws to develop a trusted relationship with our clients. Corresponds with federal, state, and local tax agencies on behalf of clients to resolve problems.
  • Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a positive quality service image.
  • Researches and resolves client and system problems to ensure accurate payroll reports and tax returns.
  • Onboarding of new clients.

Position Requirements

Years of Experience

Minimum of 3 years payroll experience with a proven track record in data entry, customer service, payroll knowledge, project management experience and problem resolution

Education

High School Diploma
