About the Role

Driver Recruiter

Full-time

York, Pennsylvania

The Driver Recruiter communicates with company driver and owner operator applicants through all stages of the onboarding process in order to recruit, select, and hire qualified individuals for employment with Day & Ross or any of its subsidiaries.

How You'll Help

* Field inbound and outbound recruiting related calls.
* Manage recruiting databases.
* Identify quality candidates for open positions.
* Contact and follow up with potential recruits.
* Attend hiring events and special promotions outside the office.
* Possibly work at offsite locations for special projects.
* Work closely and communicate with related departments.
* Proactively communicate with the recruits and current drivers.
* Performs other duties as requested.

Your Skills & Experience:

* At least 1 year of recruiting experience or other related experience.
* At least High School Diploma or GED equivalent or other equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Previous experience with the TMW platform.
* Experience with the Tenstreet Application Management System.
* Working knowledge of DOT Regulations and Federal Regulations pertaining to hiring practices.
* Be able to read and understand a map and calculate distances for positions we are hiring for.
