Job Summary: The Financial Analyst provides support to the finance department within the Refreshment Services organization, specifically supporting the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. The FA will also routinely interact with the VP of Finance and management of other functional groups within Refreshment Services. The purpose of this position will be to provide value through analysis presented to the key business stakeholders in supporting their decision making. The position is integral in the preparation of numerous month end financial reports, along with variance analysis, projection reporting and active participation in the annual business plan process, inclusive of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow planning.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare detailed analysis of segmentation of growth within both macro markets and client levels
- Preparation of trend and exception reporting, including major P&L cost categories and working capital/cash flow.
- Assist in reporting and analysis of monthly financial metric package and quarterly operation review material
- Assist in managing internal financial database used to produce key monthly and quarterly reporting
- Serve as liaison to field finance personnel for analysis and support monthly financial reporting cadence
- Collaborate with the management team of selected overhead departments for monthly projection and variance analysis.
- Perform other related tasks, projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, coupled with one to four years of progressive experience in financial analysis and accounting.
- Position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly; ability to adapt to new situations and interface with senior management.
- Superior analytical ability and spreadsheet modeling skills are required.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interface with multiple levels of management are essential.
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office package, specifically a high level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, as well as decision support tools and multi-dimensional data base solutions.
- Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests.
- Experience with mining databases and ability to translate financial needs with IT functionality.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
