Job Description

HPLC Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Routine laboratory testing using established separation and biochemical methods, including HPLC/UPLC
• Preparing buffers, packing columns, setting up, sterilization, sampling, and cleaning of systems
• Document laboratory activities electronically and enter process data into database (cGMPs)
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Strong computer and communication skills; ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented
• Experience with laboratory techniques such as HPLC/UPLC (including SEC, HIC, IEX, and RP), CE, SDS-PAGE and Western Blot
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required, and experience with Empower, Chemstation and other laboratory software is highly preferred.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
