The Media Supervisor position is responsible for development of the overall media strategy and the hands on tactical implementation of client accounts in order to work within budget, stay within deadlines and achieve overall client satisfaction. This includes maintaining strong relationships with both the clients and account management and recommending strategic and tactical changes to the marketing mix as appropriate.The Media Supervisor position is responsible for development of the overall media strategy and the hands on tactical implementation of client accounts in order to work within budget, stay within deadlines and achieve overall client satisfaction.   • Lead a team of media planners and oversee the development of all media planning, optimization and campaign performance
  • Cultivate a strong understanding of the client's business, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives
  • Identify specific media strategies and develop comprehensive media plans that deliver on those strategies
  • Prepare and present media recommendations including objectives, strategy, channel rationale, KPIS and all backup materials
  • Oversee the development, timing and accuracy of all planning deliverables
  • Demonstrate initiative by researching and identifying valuable information/insights to improve media offerings
  • Identify, sell, and execute new media communication opportunities
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices and discuss potential impact with media team


  • 4 year college degree plus minimum 5 years of media planning experience
  • Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business
  • Knowledgeable in the digital media landscape for both branding and direct response campaigns
  • Working knowledge of media vehicle roles, media communication dynamics, and marketing and advertising concepts for both traditional and digital outlets
  • Analytical ability and strategic curiosity in order to identify key optimizations
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite, with particularly strong excel skills
  • Comfortable with Macs and Keynote
  • Exceptional oral, written, presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to operate in a leadership role
