Job description

Overview:
Performs validation, calibration, and qualification activities on instrumentation & equipment, and documents the results consistent with all applicable quality standards according to schedule. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on instrumentation and equipment when scheduled or required.

Responsibilities:
Ensures that all equipment is properly validated, calibrated and qualified according to appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Draft, execute, and review calibration and qualification documentation (e.g.IQ/OQ/PQ)

Provides consistent cGMP & GLP documentation practices.

Communicates with supervisor and other colleagues as required.

Monitors contractors for calibrations, validations, and repairs as required.

Communicates Metrology area needs to Facilities, Testing and Manufacturing personnel.

Contacts suppliers/vendors as required

Electronic repairs.

Works on routine assignments per written procedures, where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

Normally receives minimal instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent

Associates' degree with a major in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
