Job description

A startup property management company, located in Philadelphia is seeking an Office Manager to join our team!

Our ideal candidate for this position would be a person who is detailed-oriented with a background in real estate. They will have the desire to grow with our company. This is a part-time position with ability to become full-time for the right fit.

Duties Include but not limited to:

-Responsible for organizing all work orders & upkeep of property.

-Ensure that all vacancies are completely market-ready.

-Answering calls and coordinating with our outside contractors for repairs

-Collecting rents

-Dealing with the utility companies and the city

-Diligent notetaking and filing

-Takes initiative to constantly improve operations.

-Perform proper follow up with prospective residents.

-Enter all traffic, telephone calls and other daily activity into the computer.

-Participate in ongoing resident relations including telephone calls and resident functions. Assist with resident concerns or related activities as requested by management.

-Physically inspect property when on grounds, pick up litter and report any service needs to the community manager.

-Contribute ideas to the community manager for marketing the property and improving resident retention and satisfaction.

-Attend any training classes/meetings as required or recommended by management.

- Make copies of keys for units.

Prior real estate or leasing experience is a definite plus, but not necessary. We would like candidate to have or be willing to obtain real estate license to grow with us for purposes such as writing contracts in the future.

Candidate will need a vehicle and valid driver's license.

Please do not apply if $10/hour is not acceptable. Salary is not negotiable unless you have a real estate license & experience.
