Senior IT Financial Analyst (North America IT)

The North America IT Senior Financial Analyst resource will serve as a deputy to the NA Lead within the IT Finance DFO Organization. The Support resource is responsible for developing effective and proactive input on IT spend for the North America Business and IT customers by leveraging a firm understanding of IT expense management. Through the generation of thorough business plans, forecasting spend, and investigating and rationalizing actual spend by evidencing variance rationale, this resource will provide information in support of IT and Business Leadership decision-making regarding North America IT spend, investments, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the North America IT Finance strategic plan, annual plan, monthly forecast, actuals and budget.
  • Prepare and communicate monthly IT financial results, headcount monitoring and forecasting trends with proper insights and transparency.
  • Provide support to North America IT customers and Business/DFO community. Serve as advocate on IT Allocations charged to the respective groups and units.
  • Perform month end close accounting responsibilities.
  • Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and providing guidance during unexpected events
  • Manage end to end project portfolio from inception to implementation. Ensure capital projects adhere to capitalization policy.
  • Seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction through reporting enhancements and effective and timely communication.
  • Utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that drive improvements and deliver improved results.
  • Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues.
  • Collecting and analyzing quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
  • Assist with business cases and other financial modeling activities.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting or other analytical field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of finance experience or master's degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Detail and results oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a high performing environment.
  • Proactive collaborator and possesses ability to be flexible and agile.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Intermediate to Advanced experience in Excel.
  • Apptio and TM1 system experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interact with all levels of leadership.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
