Job description

As the Accounts Payable Manager at Numerator, you will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense team to ensure that AP invoices and employee expense reports are submitted and paid, timely and accurately. In addition to working cross-functionally with other internal teams, you will find, create, and foster relationships with all our vendors.

Responsibilities will Include:
  • Leads accounts payable and travel and expense function
  • Maintain AP aging and reconcile to general ledger and vendor statements, ensuring amounts remain current
  • Corporate credit card administration (Brex credit card). Build and lead best practices for corporate card usage and controls
  • Partner with Accounting to create monthly accruals for employee and vendor expenses (Netsuite Accounting System)
  • Manage vendor onboarding process and ensure vendor payment terms are in line with corporate polices
  • Provide new employee onboarding and ongoing training across organization for vendor payables and employee expenses
  • Ensure employee expenses are completed timely across organization (Egencia and Chrome River)
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Controller which may entail research, documentation of department and Firm procedures to ensure proper internal controls are in place, additional account analysis and reconciliations, implementation of various systems to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of department operations, and draft and facilitate Firm-wide training over various subjects related to accounts payable, expense reimbursement and travel policies.
  • Manage an outsourced and local team
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, shifting priorities and tight timelines

Skills & Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in the accounts payable and travel and expense function (minimum two years as a supervisor of staff)
  • Proficiency with the following systems (Netsuite ERP) (required)
  • Proficiency with the following systems AvidXchange, Chrome River, Egencia Travel) (preferred)
  • Advanced organizational skills and multi-tasking ability with strong attention to detail
  • High energy and passion for the role, and for helping and supporting others
