In our long term care facility, you would oversee and control volunteer services and donations. You will recruit, interview, and select volunteers; attend and assist with or coordinate services and events that volunteers sponsor or are involved in. You will act as a liaison for service organizations, civic groups, and community leaders regarding the needs of the facility relative to volunteer personnel. Your will also coordinate the operations of the resident canteen.

Work Hours and Additional Information:

* Full time employment (7.5hr/day, 37.5 hours/week).
* Work Hours: 1st Shift (8:30AM - 4:30PM); Monday - Friday; 30 minutes.

Qualifications:

* Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience directing or coordinating the activities of volunteers, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, public relations, social work, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:

* This position comes under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
* Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
