POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will provide professional project management support to Human Resources projects and programs, specifically focused in the work of HR Operations, including but not limited to the following: Field & Corporate HR, Shared Services, Associate Engagement and Retention, Diversity and Inclusion, Total Rewards, and Staffing. These enterprise-wide initiatives support key functions across the business; they are complex and the work runs across corporate and field operations.
As our work in Human Resources increases in complexity and our associate population grows, effective project management and communication is critical to the success of our programs. In addition to the traditional project management function, this role will support the communication of these projects in alignment with the associate communication framework.
If you have served in a Project Management role at Penske or in another organization, or you are a HR Professional who has formally developed project management skills and successfully led projects we are interested in talking to you.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and lead HR Operations projects, programs, and initiatives, including the planning, analysis, design/development, execution, monitoring and control.
• Collaborate with Process Owners and Associates to evaluate customer and business requirements.
• Consult with Senior Management and propose expanded initiatives that align with existing work that will better meet the needs of the organization.
• Lead cross-functional teams at all levels to successful completion or project goals.
• Present final recommendations and project outcomes to senior management.
• Institute measures to monitor HR processes.
• Collaborate with the other HR Project Managers where appropriate in order to create consistencies in project management processes and applications.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven project management experience is required; formal training in this area is a plus

• Extremely strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong presentation skills and creativity in presentation design

• Strong facilitation skills

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required; Visio and Project experience a plus

• Ability to work efficiently and independently with strong attention to detail

• Green Belt /Black Belt skills and certification a plus

• Bachelor's Degree required

• HR experience a plus

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

• Willingness to travel, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background verification (to include past employment and education) are required.
