Living Branches, a Mennonite Nonprofit Senior Living Community with a 5-star CMS rating, is currently seeking a Director of Human Resources to join HR our team.
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing leadership, management, and proper execution of the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for Living Branches while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-8 years' experience in an HR related role (preferred)
- Knowledge of computers including basic word processing and spreadsheet software, Microsoft Word, Excel Teams and Outlook
- Knowledge of HR practices/policies related to employment, labor relation - EEO/AA
- Experience in project management (preferred)
- Human resources certification including SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR (preferred)
Job Duties:
- Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Conducts regular one-one-one meetings with direct reports. Participates in team meetings.
- Works with recruiter to assure that interactions occur with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and position requirements for current and future vacancies and that current internal and external job postings are maintained. Assures that the recruiter evaluates, screens, and conducts initial screening interviews with applicants for current vacancies; refers qualified applicants to hiring managers; confers with managers on selection decisions.
- Works with recruiter and HR generalists to ensure complete and successful on-boarding process for all employees; including communication to employee and manager and satisfactory completion of all forms, background checks, and other employment processes.
- Maintains Department of Health and Department of Human Services reporting and survey readiness and documentation as required by regulations and organizational policies.
- Responsible for workers compensation, unemployment compensation, and EEO reporting.
- Participates on various organizational committees and teams as requested, including the Living Branches Employee Events Committee.
Job Location:
The Director of Human Resources oversees all 3 of our 5-star CMS rated campuses: Dock Woods (Lansdale, PA), Souderton Mennonite Homes (Souderton, PA) and The Willows (Hatfield, PA.)
Day to day, this position will sit out of our Souderton Mennonite Homes campus, with occasional travel to Lansdale and Hatfield, PA.
Job Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
