We are currently seeking a PA Certified Secondary Teacher for our Transition Classroom. The selected candidate will become part of a team including a therapist and in-class behavior coach. The transition teacher will teach a combination of direct instruction and monitor an online-based curriculum.

Responsibilities Include

  • Preparation of academic materials based on district curriculum
  • Individualized and group instruction
  • Evaluation of student performance
  • Team-based student interventions
  • Participate in staff meetings, district meetings, and parent communication
Requirements
  • A four-year degree from a college or university and a valid PA Teaching Certificate (4-8)
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive, strong classroom management
