Job description
Performance Review Program Training & Coaching
- Expected Result: Lead BioSpectra' s performance management program by ensuring that all managers are effectively trained, have the appropriate performance tools and perform appropriate performance feedback. Oversees quality of job descriptions to ensure they provide clear communication regarding employee performance expectations. Manages the online performance review program.
Employee Engagement, Turnover Reduction Program
- Expected Result: Lead BioSpectra' s employee engagement and employee turnover reduction program by conducting turnover analysis, employee engagement surveys and working with managers to drive actions that improve employee engagement, satisfaction and reduce employee turnover.
Assist with Manager Development & Training
- Expected Result: Supports BioSpectra' s management training program by designing and delivering training that includes performance reviews, interview skills, performance coaching, dealing with conflict, planning & executing, building effective teams.
Assist with Candidate Sourcing
- Expected Result: Candidate Sourcing and interviewing to fill open positions
HR Compliance, Corrective Action & Investigations
- Expected Result: Leads and develops BioSpectra' s HR compliance, corrective action & respectful workplace programs. This includes the development and communication of policies, oversight of absence management activities and conducting investigations as appropriate.
HR Generalist Support
- Expected Result: Provide consulting and guidance to managers regarding compensation, performance issues, corrective actions, candidate selection and planning organizational changes.
Assist in creating policies
- Expected Result: Assist in the creation of policies to support multiple sites.
- Manage the Absence Management Program.
- Manage the Absence Management Program through ADP monitoring, reporting and employee coaching.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists in recruiting new hires.
- Assists other Human Development staff in the development and communication of Human Resource Policies.
- Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related discipline, or commensurate Human Resources experience, ideally in manufacturing.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in human resources, with the responsibilities of a HR Generalist.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, bio-material, food or material manufacturing industry.
Special Skills & Competencies:
- Communication - Must have accomplished communication skills in order to listen and communicate effectively with employees and managers at all levels.
- Organizational Effectiveness - Must have working knowledge and be able to apply the principles that enable organizations to work optimally.
- Planning & Execution of Work - Must have demonstrated the ability to plan projects and accomplish assigned objectives effectively.
- SHRM Certification - The ideal candidate will have attained or has the capability of attaining PHR or SPHR Certification.
Work Hours & Schedule:
- Exempt Position
- Minimum of 40 Hours per Week
- Occasional travel to and working from other BioSpectra facilities
- Occasional off-shift work, as needed, to provide HR support to off-shift employees

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
