Description:

Crescend Technologies, LLC is looking for an outstanding individual with government accounting experience. Someone with a solid financial accounting background who see's themselves as a dynamic team player in a growing company. EPICOR experience a plus.

Job Duties Include

  • General Ledger and subledgers (A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, INV) - Ensure transaction amounts and allocation accuracy - review and reconcile at least monthly
  • Monthly Financial Statement with variances to budget
  • Prepare and send annual review documents to outside accounting firm; correspondence with outside accounting firm on various transactions
  • Prepare and submit online the mandatory annual Government Manufacturer's Census Report
  • Budget - Gather data from all teams and prepare an annual Budget
  • Forecasts - as required - gather shipping information from operations manager and program manager for expected product shipments, apply pricing data from applicable proposals. This can be updated monthly/weekly - depending on customer demand and material availability
  • Cash Flow
  • Inventory Physical and Cycle Counts - Oversee the process, enter the resultant counts, perform recounts and request research on various items - report final results
  • Ensure Internal Controls are being maintained
  • Incurred Costs Electronically (ICE-DCAA form) preparation and submission if necessary
  • Need knowledge of the FAR to correctly allocate expenses
  • Need to maintain the integrity of the General Ledger accounting system to allow for the correct capture of Direct Costs (material, labor, commissions and ODCs) as well as unallowable expenses
  • Calculation of burden rates used for product pricing
  • Calculation of forward pricing rates if required
  • Calculation and update of Labor Rates used in pricing files as necessary
  • Review of populated pricing files to validate - costs to quotes, ODC charges and spreadsheet formulas are correct
  • Collaborate with Proposal Team to determine final pricing for proposal
  • Provide Cost or Pricing Data to DCAA or another Agency (NOT the Customer) as required
  • Sanitize Proposal Cost Data and submit to customers when required
  • Ensure customer invoices are in alignment with purchase order stipulations
  • Ensure employee time entry is being captured by Project/job

. Requirements:

Degree in Accounting

3-5 years of management experience

Some degree of government accounting a plus

Ability to wear multiple hats in a growing business

COVID vaccination required
