**Shift: M-F, 9:00am-5:00pm**

**Job Responsibilities** **:**

Performs In-Process, Finished Product and Stability testing using HPLC, dissolution and wet chemistry techniques

+ Analyzes raw materials using USP/NF or in-house testing methods

+ Analyzes cleaning swab samples using NPOC and HPLC techniques

Performs instrument qualifications of laboratory equipment

+ Performs all assigned tasks in a timely and organized manner in accordance with cGMP, OSHA, GLP and company policies and procedures.

Provides training and assistance to other group members

+ Investigates and troubleshoots analytical problems

+ Maintains good cGMP practices by following detailed SOP's, laboratory notebook, training records, and good documentation practices

+ Operates and maintains all analytical instrumentation and equipment per established SOP's

+ Performs semi-complex adjustments to lab equipment and instruments, calibration and preventative maintenance of equipment, including the completion of appropriate documentation

+ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by performing routine are housekeeping and reporting unsafe conditions.

+ Creates and revises SOP's and analytical methods

+ Performs other duties as directed by the Quality Control Manager or Supervisor

**Education & Skills Necessary** **:**

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or an Associates degree in Chemistry and a minimum of 2-4 years laboratory experience in Quality Control

+ Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment

+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential

+ Computer proficient in Microsoft Office.

+ GC experience is a plus
