ERP Support Specialist - Providence, Rhode Island

Our client, located in the Providence, Rhode Island area, is currently seeking an ERP Support Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior ERP and tech support experience. This position sits in office 5 days/week.

Hourly rate: $30-$35/hr.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as knowledge resource for ERP system
  • Analyze current processes and suggest new ways to utilize resources
  • Report/Query writing via Microsoft SQL Server Database
  • Work with ERP vendor for support issues
  • Documentation and support for existing work processes including custom designed applications
  • Create and maintain all standard work instructions as it relates to end user computing, data center functions, and network configurations and mappings.

Requirements include:

  • Degree in IT field with 2+ years relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Directory Services knowledge (Windows 2012+ Active Directory, etc.)
  • Systems knowledge (Windows, Linux, VDI, RDS,etc.)
  • Internet Protocols knowledge (DNS, HTTP, SFTP, SMTP, SSL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of storage arrays and servers
