As a Principal Specialist-Property, you will contribute to a fast-paced innovative team with responsibility to ensure Government, Customer, and Raytheon owned property is efficiently managed and in compliance with RMD businesses processes, contract requirements, regulations and sound business practices. The role will administer and/or maintain aspects of the Property Management System including support of one or multiple property lifecycle areas (i.e., acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship or contract closure).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
This position requires working on multiple assignments as a member of one or several property teams to perform and support research, audits, analysis, and system transactions by creating, reviewing, approving, and correcting property records, reports, and systems. The candidate will work independently on assignments and perform under the guidance of a team lead to resolve problems of moderate complexity by interpreting policies and procedures and by developing solutions of moderate scope and impact.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors' degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, Or Master's Degree: MBA or MS
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience encompassing a strong working knowledge of Logistics and Property Management theory as well as experience in the Logistics, Property, Operations, Supply Chain or Program functions
  • Experience in government property and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance areas including interpreting and implementing FAR and DFAR contract property requirements
  • National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within 1 year of employment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM and Property system (i.e., UPS)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of database architecture and management
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Experience in property closeout of government contract as prescribed in the FAR requirements
  • Well-developed communication skills, both oral and written, to ensure effective collaboration with Property, Logistics, Procurement, Production Control, Contracts, Programs and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
  • Self-Starter who requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to manage priorities
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Previous DoD experience
