Job description

Fidelity Talent Source is seeking a Scrum Master for Fidelity Investments. This position will be based in Smithfield, RI.

The Role

In this role, you will scrum a passionate team of digital technologists and facilitate discussions among the product sponsor, technology team, and partners to define business requirements and support your team in the development and delivery of digital experiences that satisfy them. This role often requires collaboration across multiple systems teams. The qualities you bring:

• The ability to deliver mid- to large-scale initiatives by empowering and supporting your team, helping to identify and remove impediments, prioritize stories and epics, and continually increase the team's efficiency
• A collaborative approach to problem-solving and your ability to adapt plans based on interpersonal dynamics and constraints
• Can organize and present ideas and information logically and concisely to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals
• Ability to operate and influence in a fast-paced and innovative environment
• Can balance multiple, contending priorities
• Strong consultative, listening, communications, and analytical skills
• Desire to be an involved member of an organization committed to innovation and continuous improvement

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience working with software development teams, with at least 2 years leading sophisticated IT projects/initiatives
• Technical exposure and experience in content management (CMS or SDL Tridion) is a plus
• Hands on experience running technology initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery
• Experience leading, influencing and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groups
• Experience with Jira and/or Confluence
• Bachelor's degree in MIS/Computer Science or related field
• Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Experience using Jira Align is a plus
