MCGUINNESS MEDIA & MARKETING is hiring an experienced Digital Media Manager for their Warwick, RI office. We are actively searching for an experienced, strategic and proactive team member to join our fast-growing team!

The Digital Media Manager is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media activities for the agency. The ideal candidate will work with key business partners to drive digital advertising and explore development of new digital marketing channels. The candidate will handle communications on status of ongoing initiatives and develop media plans, strategies and analyze reporting for clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background and understanding not only of digital media, but all facets of digital marketing including web analytics, site optimization, and the evolving interactive marketing landscape.

The Digital Media Manager will plan and budget for multi-channel media campaigns across all business lines. She/he will be responsible for building a culture of quality and performance within the team and to develop data-driven, customer-centric and innovative marketing strategies. This position is responsible for organizing, facilitating, coordinating and reporting all digital advertising-related work and processes. Daily tasks may include reporting functions and budget maintenance, updating website content, creating media schedules, tracking project progress, routing work for review/approval, proofreading creative and/or trafficking artwork to appropriate outlets. Most importantly, you work with internal team members, clients and designers to deliver results in a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Director of Media & Strategy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES

•Manage Digital and Social media campaigns that maximize ROI and strengthen the customer connection to the client's brand

•Possess a thorough understanding of client's attributes, marketing objectives, target audience, competitive environment and market dynamics.

•Measure and report performance of all paid media campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs); adjust and execute changes to strategy based on results

•Plan, execute, and measure digital media experiments and conversion tests

•Continually evaluate the digital media industry and drive new initiatives and strategies that align to the digital customer profile of our brand portfolio.

•Partner with the Creative team to develop/maintain timelines, deadlines and guidelines for all campaigns

•Conduct financial reconciliations on a monthly basis, request invoices from media partners, reconcile budgets accordingly, working with the support from media planners/buyers and media coordinators

•Review creative development of a project during concept to completion to ensure specifications, client expectations, budgets, timelines, etc. are being adhered to.

•Maintain agency/vendor relationships through communication and meetings

•Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

•Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task to enhance productivity and manage workload.

•Implementation of marketing plans, including positioning, campaign strategies, and market strategy insights.

•Effectively managing accounts with the primary goal being the achievement of clients' marketing objectives.

•Supervising and effectively managing the production of client-approved marketing materials.

•Efficiently and effectively interacting with appropriate agency executives and staff.

•Ensure that conference reports, status reports, etc., are accurate, distributed appropriately, and on a timely basis.

•Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

•Cooperation - Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.

•Candidate must be articulate, honest, have a sense of humor, easygoing, but disciplined and motivated. We need a culture fit!

•Ensuring the accurate and timely production of media, budgets and estimates for approval as well as the processing of client billing on a monthly basis.


ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or related field

•3-6 years of experience driving digital marketing programs, media execution and analysis preferably for fast paced retail/hospitality or financial services companies (agency experience a plus!)

•Proven experience and success planning integrated digital media plans

•Experience in B2B and B2C campaigns/clients

•Solid understanding of ecommerce and digital media (paid search, display advertising, retargeting and social media advertising)

•Knowledge of site analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Apps Flyer, etc.) and tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager) a plus.

•Should be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently. Need strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.

•Professional verbal and written communication skills required.

•Ability to multi-task, balance numerous and diverse operations, as well as possess the ability to work well with all levels of employees and management.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
