Duties
In this position, you will serve as a Real Property Accountability Specialist and be responsible for providing professional and technical products and services as well as guidance and expertise in the area of real property inventory management and reporting for various locations throughout the SILC area of responsibility.
Being a CG civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Typical work assignments include:
- Performing technical real estate work in the acquisition, disposal, and overall management of real property owned, or leased.
- Reviewing lease contracts and leasing actions, performing lease administration functions for complex space provisions, including changes in the amount and configuration of space.
- Preparing Supplemental Agreements as necessary to capture changes to lease.
- Maintaining and updating various spreadsheets and real property inventory databases, to include performing data input.
- Receiving assignments and has cradle-to-grave responsibility for acquisition projects including the inspection/assessment and acquisition of land, easements, leases, and rights-of-way.
- Performing disposal actions that include demolition, lease terminations, and excessing of real property

Qualifications
GS-12 LEVEL: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Examples of specialized experience include: experience with all legal aspects of federal real property transactions, including specifically; acquisition accountability (inventory validation), disposal, and lease acquisition and management; application of the Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act as it relates to federally owned government real property; space utilization practices and the ability to conduct space utilization surveys; adherence to the Chief Financial Officers Act (CFO Act) as it relates to real property physical inventory processes and documentation requirements, and ability to conduct real property inventory evaluations; reading construction drawings/survey plats to conduct necessary research to meet data calls or maintain real property inventory using available resources, and evaluation of data pulled from drawings, plat maps, files and other records in order to capture changes to the real property inventory; inputting data into various database programs such as Access, Oracle, Maximo and Microsoft Office spreadsheets.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
